(Hong Kong, 29 April 2012) Convoy Financial Group ("Convoy" / "the Group" ) has always aimed at contributing to the community and spared no effort to take part in community services while expanding its business at the same time. Convoy also encourages its staff to participate in voluntary activities which can benefit the society and help strengthen the Group's team morale simultaneously. With 20 volunteers, the Convoy Volunteer Team participated in "The 2012 International Million Trees Project - Trees Planting Day Event on World Earth Day (Hong Kong Region)" on 22 April 2012 (Sunday) in the East of Peng Chau Island. They have been taking actions in saving the climate and planting for a better future for two consecutive years.

The International Planting Day was held on the 43rd " World Earth Day" around the world to publicize and promote the importance of afforestation and the academic significance behind environmental conservation globally. Volunteers from the Convoy Volunteer Team worked together with their family and friends and contributed to the ecology regardless of the hot weather. The volunteers all said that it was worthy to take part in the event no matter how tough it was. They felt contented to create a better future for Hong Kong and the next generation with their colleagues, family and friends.

Convoy Volunteer Team was formed by Convoy staff in 2008. In line with their goal of "Let's volunteer together", the Team organizes different activities and encourages clients, friends and family to unite the power of love and participate in community services. Volunteers participate in activities in various places, hoping to spread love to every corner on earth where help is needed. For example, the Team visits Gansu and Guizhou every year and provide assistance in establishment of schools. The Team also continues to respond to environmental protection by participating in tree planting and energy saving competitions. Through participating in volunteer activities, not only can staff share their love and care, but they can also reflect on their lives, benefiting themselves and others.

Ms. Rosetta Fong, Chief Executive Officer of Convoy Financial Services Holdings Ltd (Stock Code: 1019) was very pleased that the Convoy Volunteer Team organizes and participates in different social voluntary work regularly, influencing family and friends around them as well as extending the power of love.
